The Inland Swap Top Lap Grinder
has the basic Inland 'Swap Top' base motor unit with the 6"
Flat Lap upper housing to create an economical and powerful flat
lap grinder. The Inland 6" Lapidary Grinder comes
with four 6" diamond lap discs of the most common grits
- 170, 325, 600 and 1200 grit. A polishing pad is also
included. There are many different grit diamond discs available
as optional items, from 60 to 2000 grit.
The Inland 6" Lap Grinder
has a powerful motor with a variable speed controller that allows
you to adjust the grinding speed for any task. A water
drip system applies water directly to the lap disc plus a variable-flow
adjustment to suit any material. The lap discs are heavy
40 mil metal discs with electroplate bonded diamond grit and
attach they to a heavy plastic master lap disc for increased
stability.
Replacement laps are also available
in 8 different grits from 60 to 3000 diamond grit, plus the polishing
pad. Optional conversion kits are also available for the
Swap Top Machines, allowing you to convert the lap machine it
into a router style diamond grinder or diamond saw.

available in an 8" model, below.

area than the 6" model, for faster grinding.
The Inland 8" Lapidary Grinder
comes with four 6" diamond lap discs of the most common
grits - 170, 325, 600 and 1200 grit. A polishing pad is
also included. There are many different grit diamond discs
available as optional items, from 60 to 2000 grit.

Diamond Lap Discs

These DiamondSure Diamond Lap
Discs are made of heavy 40 mil, 1mm thick metal plate with electroplate
bonded diamond grit. Each lap disc has a 1/2" center
hole and will fit Inland Flat Lap Grinders in addition to many
other flat lapidary grinders that use a 1/2" arbor hole.
The diamond laps are available
in 6", 8", 10" & 12" diameter and come
in many different grits from 60 to 3000 grit. Buy any mix
of 3 or more diamond discs to save.

Inland Lap Grinder Accessories
Polishing Pads,
Polishing Compound
Master Lap Base, Lap Disc Arbor Nut, & Face Shield
Inland polishing pads are made
of heavy wool felt. They are available in 6" or 8"
diameter. The pads come in a 3-Pack. Inland polishing
compound is an optical grade cerium oxide powder and comes in
a 4 ounce jar.
The Inland face shield is 11"
x 8-1/2" and fits all Inland router grinders and Inland
lap grinders. The face shield has a mounting bracket that
attaches to the back of the machine. |
