Tool - Dry Wheel
Basic dry wheel glass cutter
tool with steel wheel is designed for craftsmen who prefer inexpensive
glass cutters for short-term use. The "Gold-Tip"
Fletcher brand glass cutter with ball end is for pattern and
general purpose glass cutting. Hone angle on steel cutting
wheel is 120 degrees. Dry wheel glass cutter tools do not
apply oil while cutting, however they are normally dipped in
a fine grade glass cutter oil before use. While the steel
wheel cutter will not last as long as the more expensive carbide
wheel cutters, it is a good basic cutter for limited use.
